Shawarma Palace - Windsor

We love this place! Inexpensive, but good quality and freshness of food is the best! Place itself is pretty simple. It is what you would call a 'greasy spoon', but our son and many of our friends swear that shawarma is better than at any other places even in a big city

This was the first place we ate shawarma in Windsor and it was the best, and still is, 16 years later. There is nothing fancy about the place but it's decorated aptly, is clean, has good service and a fun atmosphere, the owner knows everyone who walks through the door. After trying many other similar restaurants, this one is just better by all comparisons. When we are after this type of food, there is no question, this is the spot we head to.

For two of us, the falafel plate, a couple of grape leaves and 2 sodas - less than $17 Canadian. The service was quick if not gracious. The food is very tasty, and the falafel was as good as any I've had. The ambiance doesn't make you want to linger, but it's functional. Five for food, three for every other aspect.

Anytime I am craving a quick meal, I choose Shawarma Palace. Their staff is great and the menu is delicious! I always get a plate and am always stuffed when I leave. Great location except on weekend nights!

I love this place! I am never disappointed!!! I always get the chicken shawarma pita. Consistent deliciousness:)
