Restaurant bewertenHad a pleasant breakfast. also later the day had a meal and drinks. no problem with personal or service at the bar.
During the drink service was very good, waited for eating a long time and when it arrived, it was lukewarm not at all to enjoy. After we had finished this, we moved out to sit and I was horrified to see that drug enters. Of a man I would say was a normal, I say that when he seemed that all with names very loud know with short dark hair. he even offered a man who sat with him and said he would keep up.
Visited 3 times during our 1 night Winchester break. Seemed quieter than previous visits. Good ale choice and service. Breakfast was the best Wetherspoon breakfast I've had and I've had many across the country.
Stopped for lunch with family ordered 6 meals and drinks. Including: 3 x ultimate burgers , nothing ultimate about them.Flat looking burnt burgers and raw bacon. When we showed the waitress they were burnt she advised this was searing ! Showed how hard they were...by knocking on the seared burger with a knife that couldn't cut it we got offered a drink as compensasion maybe this was to soak the burger so it could be chewed. To top these meals off they had so much burger sauce in an attempt to hide the burnt burger it was un edible. Chips over cooked along with onion rings in old oil. The chicken strips ordered tasted like they had been deep fried in old oil along with the above it all tasted the same. This wasn't a good thing. Finally the pizza ordered at the same time as the over done food came out 10 mins later than the rest and this was undercooked to perfection..raw sour dough pizza lovely. Worst wetherspoons ever visited and ridiculous excuses when we questioned the burnt food.. Still we had an extra drink to wash it down. Wouldn't recommend or revisit.
My ID, which is foreign and from the Middle East was questioned multiple times even after shown proof via bank card being after previously being accused of it not being mine. I believe that this is due to the Arabic writing that this ID was...questioned not only once but 3 times. I couldn’t be more disappointed and hurt by the ignorance of the staff when the UK is a multi cultural county. I hope they sort this out as this is such poor behaviour.
