Restaurant bewertenMy husband and I, along with another couple, went to a bar for drinks on a sunny Saturday afternoon. The bar advertises itself as dog-friendly, but there were only a few dogs outside on the patio overlooking the parking lot. This was not a big issue until we discovered that the restaurant was closed and we had to sit at the bar. The bartender, a rude middle-aged man, seemed like he didn't want to be there at all. It was a struggle for him to make our four drinks, and he seemed annoyed when we ordered certain items that were not available. When we asked for a soft drink, he made excuses about the fridges not working and not having ice. He even spilled a drink on the counter and told us to clean it up ourselves. It was unbelievable. When I tried to address my concerns with a waitress, she apologized and told me that the bartender was always like that and all the other staff had left. The whole experience was incredibly disappointing. It's no surprise that the place was nearly empty. We will be sticking to another friendly and beautiful spot in the area for our future visits.
what a surprise to discover this beautiful family winery! I came with a group of friends for wine tasting and lunch! we have tasted an incredible list of weeps. for lunch we sat on the terrace with magnificent views over the wine mountains. we shared. to share a few starters and I then chose the gnocchi. the meal was as impressive in size as delicious! we have selected a few bottles of white wine next to our delicious lunch. we had a wonderful time with the owners tomasino and wel, who are the sweetest people! a massive thanks to every worker who made our day so special, I am so grateful for how well we were looking for.
I had an amazing experience at this restaurant! The view outside was stunning and the food was incredible. Our waiter, Timothy, was very welcoming and provided us with excellent customer service. The owner even came down to greet us. I highly recommend this place for its beautiful views, culinary experience, high-quality food, and fantastic service. I am very particular about dining experiences, but I was truly impressed by this place!
We had a fantastic lunch in a stunning location with a beautiful view. The service we received was both professional and friendly, and the food was excellent. It had been a while since our last visit, but we will definitely be returning in the future.
The family run vineyard experience we all dream about. Nothing pretentious here, just good food, stellar wine selection, welcoming smiles and big laughs. The food was delicious, I had the gnocchi and serving was sizable but everyone else was all too happy to eat what...I couldn't. Others had fish and salads which were also delicious, but noted there were options for vegans too. The wine was beautiful (allowed to try what you like), something for every budget, and the chardonnay with lunch was perfection. The setting is peaceful and on the balcony we got the breeze and looked out over the vineyards. The whole experience was so memorable, very laid back European vibes, and at the end the owners even came and had a drink with us. Thank you Driftwood, you made our weekend so special! I don't even write reviews usually but felt compelled to share such a great and unexpected experience. No photos, too much fun!
