Second Street, An American Bistro

I had a disappointing experience at this restaurant. The waitress, Mariah, was inattentive; she left the water jug at our table, seldom checked on us, and became defensive when we raised concerns. When I pointed out that parts of my burger were undercooked, she condescendingly replied, "Sweetie, you asked for medium." I explained that the raw areas weren’t just a light pink but rather a mushy dark pink, indicating uneven cooking. To top it off, the burger was bland and lacked seasoning. This place appeared promising from afar, but it ultimately ruined my anniversary dinner. I strongly suggest dining elsewhere; it’s disheartening to realize that fast-food chains do a better job with seasoning and cooking than a supposed fine dining establishment.

Additionally, the burger was quite tasteless, which was disappointing. On the bright side, the fries were good, and the manager was nice and helpful. However, the waitstaff left a lot to be desired. Many of them were just sitting off to the side, chatting instead of being attentive. Overall, if you're looking for flavorful food and good service, this place may not be worth your time.

The food was fantastic, the service was excellent, and the atmosphere was pleasant. I will definitely visit again the next time I'm in Williamsburg.

This is a higher scale restaurant with good service, very good food, and great dining. It was our first time to dine there with great experience.

Walked in about 8:30 pm during Homecoming weekend for William Mary and and were seated within 5 minutes. Service was quick and the burger ordered was one of the better burgers I've had. Will certainly look to return. The ambiance was quiet and casual.
