Restaurant bewertenArancini was under cooked but chicken parmigiana was tasty. Drinks were nice. We were not served bread to start with, we noticed that it was being served at other tables.
A great restaurant for the family. Comfort food plus a menu that your kids will like, especially for the pickiest eaters. Tasty for sure. Take a break from shopping at Merchants Square and enjoy a beverage and feed the kids.
Decided to try some Italian food on our vacation. We loved our food from the appetizer to the main entrees, everything was very tasty, including my **** Mary. Our server was constantly checking on us if we need anything.
Great place to eat at. Very friendly staff and amazing food.Highly recommended!
For our appetizer, we ordered the fried risotto balls. As someone who loves both risotto and fried foods, I was disappointed. The risotto lacked flavor compared to the batter, resulting in a taste reminiscent of a basic fried cheese ball. Without strong flavors, I could have easily mistaken it for a mozzarella stick instead of a risotto ball. For my main course, I opted for the cacio e pepe, and it was prepared exactly to my liking. However, my wife wasn’t as enthusiastic about her dish because she prefers her pasta to be much softer than al dente. So, if you’re not a fan of al dente pasta, be forewarned that that’s how it is served here. Her mushroom pasta was good, although I found the sauce to be a bit too rich for my taste. For dessert, we chose the tiramisu. While it was a fairly standard rendition, my only note was that the cocoa powder appeared damp as if it had been added too early and then topped with a sprinkle of fresh cocoa, giving the impression of being made to order. Our server was polite, and we didn’t have to wait long for water refills or check-ins. My only issue, which was mainly my oversight, was when I ordered “a pinot,” expecting a pinot noir. When the server brought pinot grigio, I was slightly let down. I should have clarified my choice when ordering or upon receiving the drink, but that was our only hiccup of the evening. We also enjoyed a lovely view of the walkway leading into downtown Williamsburg, particularly beautiful with the sunset casting a glow behind the restaurants. Overall, the ambiance was very pleasant and relaxed.
