Restaurant bewertenThis place has changed hands. Although still named the noodle forum, it is also named Ramen Boy. Menu is simple and prices are very reasonable. The helpings are sufficient with the option of topping up the ramen for free. I had the crispy katsu rice...while my wife had the spicy ramen. Both were delicious. Will return to try other menu items.
My wife and I first became aware of Noodle Forum during a Chinese New Year celebration at Elizabeth Quay. Noodle Forum, a chain of restaurants, put on a display of traditional Chinese noodle making. It was quite a spectacle as it involved working the dough...with a long bamboo pole with a young man bouncing up and down on the dough to kneed it. Free samples soon followed. My wife (who is Chinese) and I were impressed with the quality of the noodles. We decided to head towards one of their restaurants. We never made it because those listed were either in the CBD or in the Carousel Shopping Centre food hall. Then we discovered their shop near our home in Willetton. We have been there several times. The menu is pretty straight forward with a primary focus on their noodles. They are excellent. The menu offers a variety of noodle dishes featuring fried chicken, beef brisket and pork prawn wontons, to name just a few. The menu takes a wider Asian range of options rather than purely Chinese. Laksa is one for Malaysian fans. Noodle Forum provides a reasonably priced meal of good quality. The staff are efficient, friendly and helpful.
The food here is quite nice. The portion is quite small. Price doesn't justify its value. Lots of different range of noodles.
Maybe we went on a wrong day or maybe the chef was having a bad day but the food we ordered were sub standard and relatively very expensive. The wantons were tasteless...the mee pok was just edible. Disappointed to say the least.
Warm friendly greeting. After ordering our food it came out very quickly and was what we ordered. Clean looking restaurant. Not a star restaurant but we will return to eat there.
