Mahabharat - Wigan

The staff was friendly and attentive, the food was delicious, and the atmosphere was pleasant. As a vegetarian, I am often disappointed by the vegetable curries at restaurants, as they tend to be overcooked, uninspired, and boring. This restaurant was better than most, but a more diverse selection of vegetables (especially cauliflower in a curry) would have earned them a perfect five-star rating.

We tried Mahabharat for the first time yesterday through takeout. We ordered 2 Paneer dishes, rice, naan, and chips. We really loved the food and will definitely be coming back.

I ordered food online for a takeaway treat for my 10-year-old daughter to share with my parents. We were quickly greeted at the restaurant and given a seat to wait for our order. A friendly staff member engaged us in conversation and even gave my daughter some sweets as a gesture of kindness. Before leaving with our tasty food, he surprised us with a fantastic ice cream sundae for my daughter to enjoy at home. The savory and sweet dishes we ordered were delicious and the customer service was excellent. Thank you, I have promised my daughter that we will dine in at the restaurant soon.
