Jose Pepper's Border Grill And Cantina

The food is usually quite good. I've always experienced something wrong at every meal. I've tried to like this place so hard, but my recent visit will be my last, the good hasn't outweighed this time and honestly I'm sorry to always have something wrong with my plate. Servers are good, and management is nice and helpful, but after so many less than great experiences I have to give up. I still recommend the place because I know that I am only unhappy with the problems I had and can't imagine that they often occur.

Good food good service. I got my second glass of tea with lipstick on it. Said the manager and she didn't do anything, but to say they're going to work harder, not allow. Should the dishwasher not take the lipstick from the glasses if they are really washed? 200 degrees of water and soap should wash off. I guess managers don't care about their males raising a complaint. Back in my day, managers would take something out of the bill or offer a free dessert.

Went for my birthday and although they were busy, or waitress was fantastic and brought things fast, was very friendly, and the food was delicious (I always get the shrimp tacos, they are phenomenal). It was loud when we first got there, but we expected this for a Saturday night. Would recommend and will be back.

Usually I enjoyed this brand. That was my second visit to the East Wichita Store. Our server was less than pleasant and that really set the sound for the whole meal. The appetizer was good. We've shared a duck that was less than good. I should probably have talked to a manager about the service. We were just glad to go.

The food was delicious, the drinks were too and let?s not forget our server! He was so pleasant and helpful. I meant to get his name to add it in this review. Just know we will visit again because of the service, food, and drinks!
