Restaurant bewertenDecent looking place. Picked it because it had a pool and hot tub, mainly for the hot tub, and it was a good price and was close to my business event. Hot tub is out of order... elevator is old and crappy, hallways and lobby all warm and humid and stink. Room is decent looking, has a desk, sofa, fridge, and microwave. The lighting is all lamps except 1 light in the entrance, bed is comfy and new feeling, Thermostat on the wall that doesn't work you.. have to use the controls on the unit which do work. Tried to use the new looking smart TV, it doesn't work, not connected to wifi, can't be connected to wifi even though there is accessible wifi for hilton honors, tried to call front desk there no number for the front desk on the phone, phone looks like its from the 70s, so i go down and ask the front desk he says nope TVs don't do anything, you have to connect your own laptop or something and use it that way, i asked if there was cable channels he said nope but there should be a few (broken english guy seems confused like he doesn't understand) i told him it only shows channel 2 and its a black screen. He then asked me if the remote worked and asked me bring him the remote? I declined because obviously the remote works but the TV is not connected to anything, he then said ok sorry and shrugged me off. First hotel I've ever stayed at with no working TV, and for the price of the hotel and it being a hilton brand, I think thats kinda unacceptable.
I'm a huge Hilton girl but am always leery on Hamptons. This one was no different. The rooms were very outdated. The fridge was beat up. The shower ran cold for the first 5 or so minutes. The coffee in the lobby was even cold. It's just not the kind of hotel you expect when you choose a Hilton.
Grandchildren and family stayed for a week while visiting
Friendly staff and clean room. Extremely disappointed the pool was ice cold to the point you can’t use it(and it’s crumbling around it and in it) and the hot tub was out of service (which is why we picked this hotel and pool cause this old lady needed a hot tub after driving all day). My 7 year old was blue from giving it a good old college try to swim. Not sure about safe part of town as it’s all run down around this area. So can’t vouch for that. Hotel needs to let people know if services are not working or shut down. Oh well. Chalk it up to get there and book , not before hand
Payed for a non smoking room Put me in a smoking room either that or the whole hotel reeks of cigs Went down stairs asked for a band aid said the had no band aids or first aid kit. Which I’m pretty sure is mandated by OSHA. This is the lowest quality Hilton I’ve ever stayed at.
