Taco Love Grill - White Marsh

TLDR: Fantastic Mexican food. One of the few places in the Baltimore area that serves noteworthy birria. Immensely popular restaurant, so there can be a wait on occasion, but well worth it. Vibe: 4/5. Located in a strip mall, they occupy a fairly large space with plenty of parking. Taco Love offers bar seating at their huge wrap around bar as well as both indoor and outdoor tables. Decor is that of your standard Mexican restaurant with the added flare of wall murals in the bar area. Service: 4/5. The restaurant always seems busy, which isn't exactly a bad thing. On our last trip we sat in the bar area at a high top table adjacent to the bar, but we had a regular server. He was juggling a few other parties during our meal, so service sometimes lagged (ie. water cups and paying the bill) but was never too inconveniencing. Most importantly, food and drinks came out in a timely manner as well as being prompt in taking our initial order. Food: 5/5. We specifically came here for the birria tacos and were not disappointed. To our surprise, we found out that they offered birria quesadillas as well, so we ordered both the tacos and a quesadilla. Taco Love's birria beef is super savory and tender, braised to perfection. The consommé is packed full of flavor, yet not greasy/fatty as one may think upon first glance. Out of the 2, the quesadilla edged out a win over the tacos. The combo of melted cheese intertwined with birria beef, griddled to perfection in a soft tortilla worked wonders on our taste buds. Not saying the tacos weren't tasty, but the execution of the quesadilla was next level and honestly, the quesadilla is more user intuitive when dipping into consommé.

Was a nice surprise in this modern Mexican decor. The drinks were delicious and hit the stop. We have the Chesapeake Burrito, filled with lots of shrimp, crab meat, rice, beans, tomatoes and avocado with one side of Chipotle Mayo. And the Paloma, which had served a spicy shrimp with peppers, onions, tomatoes with rice and black beans. They were both delicious and the portions were considerable. The service was very efficient and very pleasant staff and atmosphere. Will be back!!!

We came to the restaurant craving Mexican food we sat down the steak tacos where some of the best we had the shrimp tacos the churros, where very rich and greasy and were good the servers where beautiful and the frits, where good all for a decent price.

The food was so tasteful. Drinks were very delicious full of flavors. I enjoyed the mood here.

Mr. Francisco (the bartender) is NOT disappointing! He is knowledgeable and suggestive! Don't you know what you want? He'll help you find out! He even made my Bourbon drink man a Tequila man! Finally! Thank you for this jewel!
