Lakeside Grill - White Lake

We stayed at a nearby resort (Snowbird Haven Summer Resort). My wife insisted on not cooking so we planned to do our dinners at this restaurant located in the Cedar Cove Resort. Both dinners were absolutely amazing and the value was incredible! Beautiful views of the lake. I have no idea why other posters would rate this poorly. We found the food to be fresh, well prepared and nicely presented. Give it a try if you're at the Resort or just nearby.

If I could rate this a 0 I would. Do not come here unless you want to wait 2 hrs for your food and only get a sorry your in line it shouldnt be that long and then wait another half an hour. Rude, horrible service.

Came for dinner with my family! Food was amazing and the service was excellent, would definitely recommend coming in on boat or car.

Dropped in for lunch. Not too many folks in the dining room, but the view was spectacular, except for the algae filled pool. Drink orders were taken, food orders the same. I ordered the cheeseburger. Excellent choice, very tasty. My wife had the salad with chicken. Absolutely awful. Have you ever found some lettuce in the bottom of your fridge? That’s what it looked like. Chicken pieces were inedible. Sent it back, and my wife had lost her appetite, and it didn’t do much for me either. The sad part of this was we had to call the wait staff over. No one checked in after the first few bites. Things happen and we understand that, but we just felt like we were left hanging. When I reviewed the bill, the waitress loudly stated “don’t worry, I took it off the bill”. Poorly handled all around. Coincidentally, we also considered staying at the resort as we had lost power at the cottage we were renting, due to the storms. We were first told they were full and then when found it would only be for one night, we were told it wasn’t worth their while to bring someone in to clean for one night’s reservation. (Two night minimum on weekends). Am happy to spend my time and money elsewhere.

Went for a family dinner here with my inlaws and my daughters (ages 3&1) they had a high chair and a booster seat. Food was good. Not anything spectacular but average. But the view and location is above average. After supper we walked along the path that goes along the water and the resort (the waterfront) is really beautiful I would go to this restaurant again just for the view. Everyone enjoyed the experience.
