Club Corner - Wheat Ridge

My sister and I decided to try this place for the first time and stopped by for a drink. The atmosphere was lively at first, with karaoke happening on Friday night. However, we waited about 14 minutes before the bartender acknowledged us. Once she did, she took her time preparing our drinks and was unable to provide change for us to play pool. To make matters worse, they were out of limes for our tequila shots. On top of all that, they closed early and kicked us out at 10:20 PM on a Friday night.

A true icon of the Westside, this classic bar boasts excellent staff and owners. You'll find a diverse mix of patrons enjoying drinks at the bar or at tables. With plenty of space and numerous TVs, it offers a relaxed atmosphere. I highly recommend it if you’re looking for a break from the polished hipster spots.

Club Corner is a welcoming neighborhood bar where you instantly feel at home as soon as you step inside. The bartenders are friendly, and they always broadcast the game.

I visited the bar with some friends, and I overheard the owner, Rita, speaking disrespectfully about my mother without realizing I was right there. It was very unprofessional for someone in her position to behave that way, especially since my mom is a regular customer. Additionally, the place always appears dirty and run-down; it's surprising they're still in business considering they have a mouse problem. The clientele seems to be a mix of adults who act like they're still in high school, which includes the owner herself, who contributes to the overall issues at the bar. I wouldn’t recommend this place; spend your money where you won’t feel judged.

I had some family visiting who used to frequent this place, so we decided to stop by for a few drinks and some nostalgia. We arrived at 9:30 PM on a Friday, and while the parking lot had over a dozen cars, all the doors were locked. When we called, the bartender informed us that they were closed, even though we could hear the jukebox playing in the back and people having a good time. The woman on the phone was incredibly rude. Keep in mind, it was 9:30 PM on a Friday night. I really hope the owners are satisfied with their bartender's decision to close early!
