La Cucina Pasteria - Westbank

Service was good , food dry like it was reheated several times . Will not go back even if someone else pays.

This restaurant is hidden in a strip mall location in West Kelowna. Pur family had recommended it to us. We went for dinner and decided to share the lasagna ($22). It had tomatoe sauce, mushrooms, pepperoni slices, spinach and lots of cheese. My husband had the ceaser starter salad and I had the Greek starter

Great Food! Awesome Owners! Love their lunch time buffets! The soups you can grab on the go are Awesome. I recently stopped and grabbed 6 containers of 3 different soups with their yummy buns for a soup feast for the family. Was a big hit for a great price. Gotta try his Awesome smoked tomato soup. The best!

We started with Sicilian Arancini - which is deep fried risotto rice balls. These were $10, and were delicious. I could have ordered a plate of these as my entree too, they were so flavourful. Perfectly crispy on the outside and yet creamy on the inside. I have had these at 2 other kelowna restaurants, and was charged double the price, and these were so much better. I would order these again - next time X 2.We ordered another appetizer of steak pizza, which was a tenderized steak topped with marinara, and cheese. It was their house special for the evening. It was different, I hadn't heard of it before. It was good, but if you are ordering an appetizer, go with the Arancini.Our Entrees were BBQ Ribs with Mac n cheese and Veal Parmigana with Penne pasta alfredo. Both my husband and I were very happy with the meals. They were of perfect size, very flavourful, and the sides of pasta were terrific. My Mac n cheese was oven baked, covered in cheese, and couldn't have been better. We would order these again. $25.00 entrees, which are comparable with other restaurants. For dessert we ordered the Mud pie. It was $6.00 and worth every penny. It was completely not what we expected, with the pink icecream at the base, but it was good. However, next time we are going with the chocolate three ways - it sounds good.We both finished with coffee, which was delicious, in fact we each had 3 cups at the end of the meal. So good.Special mention of the service, which my husband and I both enjoyed. Shortly after we arrived, the server recieved a table of 12. The table of 12 was known to the restaurant, the owner called many of them by name. I thought "so much for the service", but we were pleasantly surprised, our service did not faulter. Our server was pleasant, attentive, and knowledgable. I would recommend this restaurant, and more importantly I would take our friends and family here.

Third and last time here. Ist was okay, 2nd not as good, 3rd and last. Food is okay, over priced for sure. Service was poor. Asked for more sauce and waitress thought about it as meal was finishing. Always try to give a restaurant a fair chance. Sorry I'm done.
