Restaurant bewertenArta a typical hotel restaurant with decent food and annoying service. the only extraordinary item was the wild game chili.
None of the pictures on the trip advisor site are accurate. The menu is not accurate for May. Husband had the pork chop. One, not very thick, pork chop for $23. I had a mushroom burger although the menu stated bison burger. The burger was dry. Obviously frozen Pattie’s. Waiter did not ask about how I wanted it. Came out well done and dry. Small. Bartender had an attitude. All in all. Very poor. Would NOT recommend
First time in my life, the server said, she reserves the right not to serve I went there at 5:20, which is a little bit busy, but the lounge was not full.I was led to the bar seat and had to wait for the bartender to finish her orders to get served.I said that I felt unwelcomed and was in a low priority for no reason, then when she came with my food, I had to ask for silverware because they did not come with the food. Then she said you shall stop being rude, or I reserves the right not to serve And on the bill, I was marked as RUDE GUY.I was shocked by the lady and the food. Maybe I shall wait for another 30 mins instead of asking immediately. That probably is a Montana State law or something as a foreigner I shall learn before I walk in West Yellowstone. The Korean BBQ flatbread has a sauce with overloaded vinegar, do not go for that. Draft beer is very light. Maybe it's because the flatbread was too sour makes it taste light.Overall a very unpleasant and disappointing experience. I tipped because there was a discount by the hotel. I do not want to owe that.
We had a nice evening going to this restaurant. We were surprised by how good the food was that we did order. Service was friendly and the waiter was attentive. The restaurant is clean and has a very pleasant atmosphere. We will come back ?
We ate here 3 times during our stay, twice for breakfast and once for dinner. The wild game chili with elk and bison was spicy but very good. Great recommendations from the server. I was grateful they offered gluten free bread with my breakfast and the chef’s choice skillet was delicious! The country potatoes were perfectly salted! The atmosphere is cozy and warm. All the staff we interacted with were pleasant and nice to chat with. Highly recommend stepping out to the restored 1903 train car. The craftsmanship was just phenomenal! There is also a small casino by the bar and my husband won over $900 on night and over $400 the second night. The location was perfect for our trip into Yellowstone! I hope we get to come back one day. We would definitely come here again.
