Restaurant bewertenI ordered Poori (deep-fried whole-wheat puffed bread) and the Dal Bowl with chickpea masala (instead of spinach dal) and omitted the tomato and green chutneys. The Poori was extremely oily and crispier than I remember from another Sudra location. The Dal was flavorful, but spicier than I expected for requesting mild.

So the caveat to my opening statement is that we went on a weekday at opening for lunch. Maybe nobody was ready for us because the food was cold and not fresh. For that price, someone needs to be doing morning prep, not just pulling leftovers from the fridge. Like others said, the portion sizes were very small, leaving a lot of empty space on the plate. Also, this is Indian fusion, not traditional dishes, so be prepared for interesting ingredients.

A very nice vegan restaurant for Indian food not too far from Portland. It has a simple feel good ambience. You have to use a QR code to check the menu and order online. The food is really good. It's mainly comfort food. The tofu bowls we ordered were really good. They have really good lemonades with tangy flavors too.
