Northwood Argentinian Food

Located centrally on Northwood Ave in the village, NAF has a tight selection of soups, salads and sandwiches in a casual café setting along with some freshly baked goods, like cookies and brownies. The décor is very basic with a few interior tables and another set outside, but this was offset by the very friendly service.For our breakfast we had Croque Madame (excellent with superior quality bread and in a very large portion) and the Avocado Toast (very good, also with excellent bread) and we followed this up with a large, delicious chocolate chip cookie. Enjoy!

Unfortunately, I never got a chance to try the food. I was asked to get up and leave my table before I was ever asked for my order. I sat down at a table hoping to order a drink while I waited for my daughter and the owner assumed I was not a customer and told me that the table was for customers only. As a black woman who just celebrated MLK day one week ago, I am highly disappointed in the assumption that was made, and likely because of the color of my skin. I'd hoped to have a quiet Friday evening meal with my daughter. Needless to say, I WILL NEVER GO BACK.

Hidden gem. Empanadas are to die for and the service is amazing. This will become our go to spot.
