Sunset Grille - West Ocean City

This is my favorite restaurant in the entire United States. I’m a career bodyguard who has been in the security sector for 13 years. I’ve been to close to all 50 US states and this restaurant tops the list! Kurt the Manager is one of the best humans you could ever encounter in your lifetime! We were very disappointed in the food that is expensive to begin with. DO NOT recomend the chicken Chesapeake or the shrimp salad wrap unless you prefer mushy shrimp. It made me nauseated and couldn't eat it. Thank goodness the small portioned Crab dip was tasty.And here's the real kicker.. a lot of the items on the menu are not available until 4pm. Then why put them on there???

The bartender Stacey S. makes the best sweet tea in all of oc! So nice and pleasant to talk to. She made sunset grille the best experience! We will surely be back!

Disappointed.. your website n your board out front of your restaurant says open at 4 for happy hour but you weren’t opened as stated!! There were many folks wanting to eat there but left totally disappointed!! Update your website n board out front of your business!!

Sunset Grille has an inviting marina side atmosphere. There is an expansive deck for outside dining. The staff is very attentive. My group ordered various crab appetizers... The crab dip is amazing, as is the cream of crab soup. The sauce on the crab imperial was broken, so it was more oily than creamy. The toasted ciabatta that accompanied the aps was warm and toasty. We ordered crab cake sandwiches. They were fine but not as good as some of the other local places in the area. The French fries are some of the best I've had. Super crisp outside and creamy inside. The pricing was what you would expect for fresh crab at the beginning of the season. The portions are generously sharable. Parking: Parking is just outside the front entrance. The lot is clean, landscapeed, and well maintained. There are plenty of spaces with numerous handicapped spaces.
