Restaurant bewertenFor being a seafood restaurant in the middle of the country this was pretty good. Appetizers- bisque was average, crab cakes were very good. The special yellowfin tuna was good, but a little light on flavor. If it weren’t for the aioli (which you should ask for more) it didn’t have a ton of flavor. The service was very good. Dry friendly and attentive. In summary, if your heart is set on seafood while in Knoxville, then there is no better option. But for me, there are so many other great options around town that it will likely be a while before we’re back.
Appetizer was slow to come out. Food was even slower. Table who came in 10 min after us had their food and had been eating for a few minutes. We inquired about our food. I just checked was the servers response and it will be right out. After inquiring a second time to a different person it finally arrived. Filet was overcooked so they took it back to redo it. Second time it was perfect but after waiting so long it was disappointing. We had trouble getting refills on our water. Spent over a third of our meal with empty glasses.
The food quality is excellent. Our server was very polite, however did not offer the bread basket and was inattentive at times. We will surely be back as Chesapeake's is one of our standby restaurants. Thanks!
We had a dinner for a work guest here at Chesapeake's and had a wonderful meal. The menu options were plentiful, the staff did a great job and we do recommend this location to friends and colleagues.
Had brunch and my eggs wear seriously over poached and the steak was all the good. After we left the server and the manager came out looking for us because we forgot to leave a tip. My friend just happened to still be there. I thought that was very rude . You would have thought we hadn't paid the bill.
