Restaurant bewertenNice little Cafe. Got a Cuban sandwich and some shredded chicken with slaw and beans and rice. A little coffee on the side.
Best Cuban I have had in a really long time. Owner is great and it is all over one of my favorite places in west Jefferson!
I really enjoyed my Cuban sandwich at this restaurant. The bread was a bit unique but delicious—it had a crispy, flaky texture. I also tried some Cuban sodas, which were tasty. Júpiña is a pineapple soda, and Ironbeer tastes similar to an orange cream soda. There were a few other options as well. The restaurant is relatively small but has plenty of tables for four. We managed to pull up an extra chair for our group of five. The staff was friendly, and I would definitely go back.
Finding a Cuban restaurant can be quite a challenge, and I certainly didn't expect to stumble upon one in West Jefferson, North Carolina. Havana Café was a delightful surprise. I tried the empanadas, black beans and rice, and plantains, paired with some Cuban coffee to complete the meal. I thoroughly enjoyed everything. Although I live more than an hour away, I’m already thinking of excuses to return and explore the entire menu!
I celebrated my birthday at the Havana Café with a gathering of friends and my wife of 52 years, and we were all incredibly impressed by both the food and the service. They offer authentic Cuban cuisine, without any adaptations. The owner and staff were attentive to the needs of my guests, and the wonderful presentation of each dish further enhanced our dining experience. This restaurant is a must-visit, and we rate it five stars!
