Restaurant bewertenVery lively, beautiful restaurant with solid food and drinks. We got the crispy sesame shrimp appetizer scallops which were amazing, the lamb chops were seasoned very well and delicious and the salmon, which was good, but the other dishes were so good, it kind of made the salmon feel a bit standard, but if you love salmon, you may love it, too. The drinks were beautiful, too. The churro sundae was a perfect way to end our meal, so good! Presentation here is everything. Can't wait to go back and try more menu items!
Our hostess, Liz, was very kind and provided the service very, very quickly, even though it was the end of the day
First visit for brunch and I was blown away by everything. The atmosphere is amazing and even though it’s on a busy street, the restaurant entrance is in the back creating a chill environment of indoor-outdoor open space. Yakatori beef with portobello mushrooms cooked perfectly with a slight sweet glaze, and super crispy fried shrimp appetizers were spot on. The salmon eggs benedict ranks as one of the best I’ve ever had for one simple reason, the hollandaise sauce was the perfect thickness and most importantly had a very distinct lemon punch missing from most. Finally, the basket of fresh pastries, lemon curd, blueberry mini muffins and cinnamon rolls were so good and so fresh, I consumed them all. Obviously made fresh in house with homemade blueberry jam that was not overly sweet and whipped honey butter complimented perfectly. Definitely could all stand on their own. Magnificent all around.
What a lovely dining experience. Hunter was a great server and took care of us, recommending things and being generally ebullient. The food was delicious and I would absolutely recommend the miso salmon, cooked perfectly. The bite of the night, though, was the Brussel sprouts with kimchi paste and golden raisins. Next level! Also, clean bathrooms with Aesop soap—LA baby!
I would say Atmosphere is the biggest reason why I love to come back here. Yes yes yes food and service are great but atmosphere is To me this place remind me about Europe and specifically Greece islands with olive trees decorated with lights and warm LA breeze. Lovely combination you cannot resist.
