Stowe's Seafood - West Haven

The clam chowder was disgusting…salt and pepper didn’t help either…took 3 spoonfuls then straight to the garbage…

Excellent fried seafood. I've been here many times over the past few years and Stowe's never disappoints. Usually order a Treasure Chest and share it as a family. It has everything in it and is a good valve. The picture is after we already started eating a little because we couldn't wait. I know the fried soft shell crab is excellent also but sadly they were sold out this time. Love the outside picnic area. Parking is tight, few spaces.

What a great place to enjoy some sun and water along with beautiful new Beach Street. You will not be disappointed

This is the world worst lobster roll from Stowe’s seafood in west haven. Absolutely terrible!! Dried out rubbery yuck. Squashed into a small styrofoam box. They should be ashamed for even serving this to the public.

Had a great lunch at this casual, no frills seafood spot. Everything tasted fresh (and looked fresh in their market! we enjoyed the New England clam chowder, risotto cake, and fried clams “boat”. The boat was a huge portion and would recommend sharing with another person! Parking was a bit tough because the lot is small but we were able to find something a couple blocks up. Appreciated the on site ATM since it’s cash only. Would come here again.
