Fernwood - West Hartford

At the New Year's Eve, Roast Beef had au jus ..fabulous! And the Clam Chowder delicious! For dessert blueberry cake is the best! My companion said the Scrod was excellent!!!! Service great by real professional staff!

I have lived in Elmwood for years and one of the most famous places is the Fernwood Restaurant. My daughter and son in the law went to dinner last week and fell in love with the place. I went to lunch with them today. And they're never disappointed. From the fresh and tasty new England clam chowder, to their meat loaf special. And then Blueberry pie a la mode!!! Absolutely delicious. Our waitress was fantastic and loved the atmosphere. The same many years later

Only good old fashion comfort food... Tom and the rest of the staff were very pleasant and attentive

Wonderful bar/restaurant with nogalstic feel. Get list in time with wonderful service, great food, inexpensive drinks, and superb people! 0 complaints... except the red Sox winning while I was there.
