Restaurant bewertenThis is a regular stop when out cycling. The cafe is at the back of a busy newsagents. Bikes can be safely parked in the passage next to the shop. Service is organised and efficient. Nice selection of cakes (some homemade) .
I visited yesterday for breakfast and was very impressed. Yummy full English and a good pot of tea. The ladies were very friendly too
Lunch time snack we are house siting for our son and decided to pop down the road for lunch. We had been told about No64 from someone in the village and what a good choice, you enter via the shop at the front there are a few tables inside but as it was a nice day we carried on into the courtyard garden a lovely sun trap, I ordered a ploughman's with cheddar cheese which was accompanied by lovely fresh bread, chutney, pickled onions, sliced Åland salad. My partner chose the mushroom and leeks in a cheese sauce which she pronounced as delicious. They also had a range of delicious looking homemade cakes which will tempt us to return.
We had a very nice breakfast baguette takeaway from here last weekend, the baguette was filled to the brim with bacon and two eggs and it was delicious unfortunately for us the cafe is only open at the weekends in winter so we were not able to try it again which was very disappointing we would certainly recommend this cafe.
This is a lovely cafe at the back of the newsagents. The service is always friendly and obliging and the food and drink are always very good.
