Restaurant bewertenWe found this lovely place by accident and we have returned afew times lovley food especially the afternoon tea. However we went for lunch today and i had the cheese and pickle sandwiches it was very nice but if i had one small critic it was...there was too much pickle on the sandwich and it overpowered the cheese for some reason i thought the pickle would come separately .service and staff pleasant though .
Called in to have a look unfortunately the day we picked the mill was not working. Little cafe there but we did not stop to eat.
Great atmosphere in the area, fishing lake, art studios and one of the finest cream teas anywhere. The new proprietors have made a huge improvement on an existing excellent cafe
Do give it a try, I haven't tasted roast beef like this for years, absolutely delicious. The puddings are just as tasty and very reasonably priced. Special price on Thurs for plus, do try you won't regret it . Its a lovely cosy venue...free parking.
We visited Mangerton Mill this year in August on an extremely wet day the place looked somewhat bleak although think the weather had a lot to do with that..We went straight into the small cafe which was like someone’s cosy front room. A very nice...young lady took our order and I have to say the menu was so extensive it took a while to make up our minds as to what to have and extremely reasonable. We did not have to wait long for our food and it was absolutely delicious and we shall be definitely returning.
