Restaurant bewertenAmazing! Went in person and ordered and both times sooo delish! Flavorful and perfect portions! The chicken vindaloo and jalapeño Samoas are the best!!!! Staff was also so sweet and accommodated us having a baby there, such a good eating out experience!
Best North Indian food I ever have had in New Jersey. DAL BHUKHARA is a must try. Service and ambiance was outstanding. Chef was humble and also made Aloo Tikki (tiki’s ware fresh) chaat for us which was not in the menu. I had the pan ice cream for dessert and it is THE best pan ice cream one can ask for!! Highly recommend going to this place!
Great food, great ambience, great hospitality, and very humble chef! Everything was just about right from the beginning! We ordered Aloo tikki chaat, kebab trio in appetizers! Very tasty, very fresh, a must try! Dal Bulkhara is a must here, it’s ITC’s signature dish! Kadai paneer was good as well. Breads are very fresh, crispy, and light! Desserts are amazziiing! Not too sweet at all! Perfectly blends with your taste buds! Try the pan ice cream if you haven’t already, it’s is delicioous!! The rabri and gulab jamun combination is out of the world!! Overall positive experience! 5/5
The food was average. I knew what I ordered and cost better in other places. Fresh orange juice was badly tasting. The host had no other, so I chose a coke. Very expensive, a saffron chai was 10 bucks. Host was pleasant and friendly, but I won't be back.
Tashan is the first really decent Indian restaurant in this area of Caldwell/Verona. Finally, no buffet for dinner, but a complete menu. There were 4 of us, and two were vegetarians, and all loved our food. Every night there are a number of specials and we have 2, which were excellent. Also I am not a big fan of Indian Bread usually - but both full wheat and rosemary garlic were fabulous. A little confusion at the beginning who served us, but as soon as we rolled, everything was delicious. So good or better than anything tries in Montclair or Parsippany, and that says something...
