Capricci's True Italian - Waxhaw

Just ok food and service. This was my first visit and I was really underwhelmed. Stuffed mushrooms were only just warm, didn’t seem “stuffed” at all. Salad had bad lettuce in it, entrees were a bit bland with the exception of the Parmesan risotto it was fantastic, but likely would not return.

This has to be the WORST Italian restaurant around. No way is this True Italian food. Horrible.First of all the waitress was NASTY she literally threw our plates at us.The cheesy bread tasted like it was microwaved, not grilled and there was no butter on it. Inedible.I had the Chicken Marsala which tasted like the gravy was from a can with maybe 5 mushrooms slopped onto it. My husband had the Eggplant parmesan and it was mushy and tasteless.Save your money and go somewhere else.

Haven’t been here in a while but tonight was excellent! Our service with Ellie was amazing and she made the best Rasberry Lemon drop martini I have ever had! Wow! The food was excellent. I had the portabella mushrooms, so delicious. My hubby had the lobster and shrimp fettuccine. He devoured it! And my girls loved the pizza and pasta! Great Father’s Day dinner!! We will be back sooner than later!!!Vegetarian options: I love all Italian. But the portabella mushroom with the pesto was calling my name!!Kid-friendliness: The girls loved their pizza and pasta

A small, informal Italian restaurant in Waxhaw. We went for Sunday brunch, so the menu was more limited than the full menu. I got shrimp scampi. The pasta and shrimp were good but the sauce was a little bland. My friend got a meatball sub with meatballs about the size of tennis balls. She enjoyed it. The service was good. Prices are reasonable.Parking: There is angled street parking across the street from the restaurant.

We went there on Mother's Day/ our 18th wedding anniversary. I know they were busy, and everyone is short staffed, but they were out of dough for pizzas, and we were given food that was very disappointing. My wife's food was okay, but it was not worth what we paid for it. Mine would have been better if it came from the freezer section at the Food Lion. It will be a very long time before I go back, if I go back.
