Qdoba Mexican Eats - Waukesha

I want to start by saying that my recent visit to this Qdoba location was very disappointing. My partner and I are regular customers, usually visiting at least 4 times a month, but this experience fell short. We should have spoken up while we were still in the restaurant, but we didn't, which was our mistake. We ordered two bowls, made side by side by different employees. Both bowls had double meat, queso, various salsas, and cheese, but one had beans and the other did not. Despite understanding that each bowl may vary slightly, there should still be some level of consistency. My partner asked for double rice instead of beans, but received only the equivalent of a regular portion. We have no issue paying for extra toppings, but if we are being charged extra for double meat, we expect it to be worth it. We contacted the manager, who was apologetic, but it was disappointing to see that there wasn't proper oversight, especially if an employee was new or in training. We may not return to this location for a while, if at all, after this disappointing dinner experience.

I used to think my experience with employees wearing gloves and masks was a one-time fluke, but it seems to be a recurring issue based on other reviews. The in-store signage states that employees should be wearing masks and gloves, but not all of them are. There was also someone coughing behind the counter, which is concerning. Additionally, there was an older gentleman who, although wearing a mask and gloves, was swearing in front of customers due to how busy it was. The food was decent, but overall, the experience felt unprofessional and left me more concerned about safety practices, especially considering it's a food establishment.

I really enjoy Qdoba. Their flavors are excellent and the opportunities to customize your meal are plentiful. The portions are also quite generous, filling up my 6'2 15 year old son, which is quite the accomplishment. Parking is plentiful in the agreement shared lot. Very kid friendly, and options to be meatfull or meatless with your meal.

The food at this restaurant is delicious and the staff is generally friendly. However, one server was a bit rude when I asked for mixed beans and mixed rice. He rolled his eyes and made a snarky remark. This kind of attitude is not appreciated, especially in the food industry. Additionally, I wish the food had been warmer when served.

I was only sad cause the Dr. Pepper was out and I love that soda with my lunch they did write a note that said the Dr. was out so it made me laugh and not be too upset about my lunch tried the new line shrimp in tacos they we so good.
