I'm proud to say this is a local spot of mine. Excellent service, food is great and you'll have a great time. And they usually have house specials that are not on the menu. Also there's a bar right down the road if you want to hang out. You want a good authentic Italian spot, this is definitely the place. Price per person: $50–100 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4

Hard to believe this has been our favorite local Italian restaurant for the past several years. We have been there twice in the past month and both times have been sorely disappointed by the service and the menu. Last month for lunch we went with a group of twelve, my husband ordered the steak and found it to be dry and unappetizing, not cooked as he requested. When he sent an email the next day to explain his issue, no one responded. Last night we went for an early dinner and again were disappointed in both service and food. We asked about a suggested wine choice for dinner after being told the champagne we would have ordered at $100/bottle) was not available. The bartender came to the table and had no good suggestions for an acceptable wine. We ended up with a mediocre wine that we didn't really enjoy. My favorite appetizer has always been the Pane Cotta which is hearty and filling. Last night I got a soupy, watery mix of beans with minimal escarole and a skimpy topping. Very unsatisfying. Our meals were okay grouper and pasta). We have always loved the tiramisu but one bite of last nights version and we both put our forks down. There appeared to be a lemony off taste; it was terrible. The responses we got from staff were lukewarm at best. We have recommended this restaurant numerous times but will not be doing so in the future. Time to find a new favorite.

Last night we had the La Tavola pizza truck at our wedding party. I’m not being dramatic when I say it was the best experience of my life. We have had a few pizza trucks at the house, but I don’t think we’ll ever use anyone else again. It’s this place forever now lol first , the service was incredible. Everyone on the truck was super kind and accommodating. Heather was on the truck for us and she was very kind and they were willing to bring their giant truck down a sketchy driveway for us. Second, the food was phenomenal. I have about 20 texts this morning asking where the pizza was from (I guess no one reads the truck labels anymore lol) and how amazing it was. They even made us some gluten free and veggie options. It was incredible. I can’t wait to visit the store. I honestly just can’t recommend the food truck enough. And want to say thanks to the team for making my wedding party one for the record books.
