Restaurant bewertenThis is always a fantastic place for a freshly made salad! Food: 5/5
The highlight of my visit was undoubtedly their fantastic selection of salads. As someone who prioritizes healthy eating, I always seek out fresh and nutritious options, and Sweetgreen certainly delivered. Their menu featured an impressive variety of salads with diverse flavors, textures, and unique combinations. I opted for the chicken teriyaki, which included blackened chicken, roasted zucchini, yellow squash, spicy broccoli, raw carrots, basil, shredded cabbage, baby spinach, and sesame teriyaki dressing. I added some pesto dressing, and it was absolutely delicious! The staff were friendly, attentive, and well-informed about the menu, making the experience even better. I was also pleased to learn that the restaurant uses eco-friendly packaging and sources its ingredients from local farmers whenever possible. It’s refreshing to support a restaurant that cares about the environment as much as it does about its customers. In summary, Sweetgreen is a true gem of a salad restaurant in DC, and I highly recommend it. Whether you’re a devoted salad enthusiast or just looking for a healthy, flavorful meal, this place will not let you down. Additionally, they offer great options for kids!
As I noticed other online orders being prioritized, I informed Tonya that I had been waiting for quite a while. In response, she laughed and casually mentioned it would be another ten minutes before my order was ready. This flippant reply surprised me and made me question the professionalism and customer service offered at the restaurant. Unsatisfied with the situation, I decided to place my order at the walk-in line instead. However, when she handed me my order, she tried to scold me as if I were a child, saying, "Don’t ever do that again." This condescending tone only added to my disappointment. As a loyal customer who appreciates prompt service and respectful communication, this experience did not meet my expectations.
Sweetgreen is always the best healthy option. We love their warm bowls, but both are great options.Food: 5/5
The servers did not greet me when I entered, and then pointedly greeted a customer that was behind me, not even ordering yet. I told the server I have a $3 plate credit can I apply it to my order. She barely understood English and tried to tell me I can use the plate credit on the day specified. I explained to her that you can use the credit up until the date specified. She then proceeded to ring me up and charge me the full price. Another associate stood there blankly. These employees need to be trained in customer service and if they don't know how to do something call a manager. I am upset because I have spent a lot of money at sweet green downloaded the app but I'm not getting any rewards or points.Vegetarian options: Everything can be made veganDietary restrictions: Vegan and vegetarian options
