District Taco Dupont - Washington DC

The food is simply amazing! I visited this restaurant twice in one day. I had the three tacos for brunch, and later returned with my family to try the create-your-own bowl. I highly recommend it if you're in the area!

Good for a quick bite. I love how you can customize your tacos here. I felt like the tacoes were lacking protein though.

This used to be my favorite taco chain in DC, but after visiting for the first time since COVID, I was very disappointed. They no longer offer al pastor tacos, which were my favorites. The special of three tacos for $11 somehow turned into $15 before tip, as any protein is now an extra charge. The fish tacos were flavorless, and the salsa bar is no longer available. The restaurant used to be buzzing during lunchtime, but now it was practically empty.

I absolutely LOVE this place! The fish tacos are amazing! Mmmmm! One of the things I appreciate is that you can go there alone and not feel out of place. People visit for the fantastic, efficient service and the INCREDIBLE TACOS! Everything on the menu is delicious, but the fish tacos are my personal favorite! The staff is wonderful and treats customers like they own the place. Plus, the prices are very reasonable!

I had two tacos for lunch—fish tacos are available on Tuesdays, Fridays, and weekends, and they were absolutely perfect! The veggie tacos, which come with complimentary guacamole and black beans, are also really delicious. The price was just $6.05.
