Great authentic Sonoran style Mexican dining! The margarita was the best I have tasted here in town as well. My test plate is always enchiladas...if the server doesn't bring it out sizzling hot and the red chile sauce is orange instead of red, I never go back. They passed the test! However, the queso dip is better when I make it. I use a fresh rue, with cream and white cheeses, but they did have jalapeños in it so it was okay. It's just that they use a fake or canned queso yellow cheese base. So that is why they got a 4 star instead of 5 star rating. Oh, and the server was excellent.

We have found a new favorite Mexican restaurant, service is fast and efficient and eating is great. I had seafood entrees and huh, which are very tasteful. chips come with salsa and spicy bean dip. we try to eat at don pedro a few times in the month. highly recommended!

Large Mexican kitchen and beautiful atmosphere. I had the Enchiladas mix and enchilada with Blanco sauce. both fantastic.

We came with another couple. we both wanted to use our starving student discount cards. the cafe’spolicy is now just one card per table. we come to enjoy our friends. we have to come alone or sit on separate tables. I'm sorry, D.P., that they lost our business

The staff at this restaurant is fantastic. We were served our food promptly and didn't feel rushed. I ordered the Burrito Blanco with cream sauce and it was delicious, so much so that I had to take half of it home. My husband enjoyed his Carne Asada, and the rice and beans that came with our meals were also excellent. I had a large frozen strawberry daiquiri which was amazing, while my husband had a 24-ounce Dos Equis that he loved. From the complimentary corn chips and salsa to the overall dining experience, we have been to this restaurant three times and have never been disappointed.
