Restaurant bewertenWe decided to try some Ottoman cuisine tonight, our Kuzu Tandir' dinner was cooked in a wood-fired oven. The shredded lamb was so tender and flavourful except that it was too oily, not that we mind dunking olive oil, but the way it is cooked it's just impossible to not be greasy. Place is lively, swarmed with mostly locals. We saved some room for their famous sweet baklava. Dining here is affordable too, highly recommended!
I'm not 100% familiar with Turkish cuisine but the food here was pretty good. I had an appetizer of the sigara böreği pretty tasty; followed by a delicious meal of their signature kofta dish (had it with bulgar); and topped it off with a special cake of the day recommendation the server essentially brought it from downstairs to my table and asked if I wanted it for dessert hard to resist when it's presented straight to your face instead of reading the description on the menu! Server I had was extremely friendly. Oh, had 2 Long Island Iced Teas during all of this.. by the end I was feeling it so the drinks were good too.
Passive aggressive behavior at a level I've never seen. Decided to leave after 20 minutes when they clearly had no intention of serving.
