Yamato's Steakhouse Of Japan - Warsaw

Before Yamato opened a few years ago, my husband and I were satisfied with driving to Ft. Wayne to get a full sushi meal once a month. We love sushi! Doing it in other areas restaurants was much expensive for decent sushi, so we made the haul to Ft. Wayne about every 30 days. WIth Yamato in town, we are no longer going to Ft. Wayne, We love Yamato! Even the change of restaurant managers did not stop the good service and the delicious sushi at a decent price. We eat elegant sushi and maybe somewhat higher quality in other companies, but never at an affordable price. We hope that Yamato will continue to attract the customerals for years because we love our local sushi!

Love this place! I love going to Yamato in Warsaw where you feel at home. The service is excellent and the food is consistently excellent. A great value that the sushi compares in California! I will continue to visit at least twice a month. The 30-minute drive is worth it.

Best Asian food in town. As someone who has spent a lot of time in Asia, I miss good Asian food and places like Chinatown Express just don't cut it for me. This place is absolutely amazing and I love everything about it. My favorite entree is the Chicken Katsu and my favorite appetizer is the gyoza, but really all their food is delicious!

Very good! Very recommended! You are not really busy, but the food is great and the staff is very friendly and attentive! Great prices also for the amount of food.

First Time Success. I posted a menu so hopefully this restaurant will be able to endure the often fickle palate of this area. It was frustrating that I couldn't find a menu online and the website only lists the Ohio locations (which has similar menus but really just confused me more). We needed an order to go, so I wanted to order ahead, but it still only took about 15-20 minutes to decide, order and receive our rolls. Other than that I don't have much more to offer that my girlfriend Tillie didn't cover in her post. Eat up!
