Restaurant bewertenI ordered the wings and tried two different sauces. Although they tasted similar, they were both good. I especially enjoyed the hot ranch sauce. The wings were large and freshly made.
We decided to visit Sunrise based on my mother-in-law's recommendation. We were on our way to a show at The Robins Theater and thought we would give this place a try. Since the show was sold out, the restaurant was very busy. The staff had an old-school Italian family vibe, which added to the overall experience. They weren't overly friendly, but we weren't there for the show - we were there to eat, and the meal did not disappoint. The food was delicious, especially considering the price. Everything was fresh and served in a timely manner. While waiting in line, we witnessed a woman storming out because the deep dish pizza took 45 minutes to make. However, this was clearly stated on the menu, and it made sense to us that perfection takes time. They recommend ordering in advance. Even if you're in a hurry, there are plenty of other menu items to choose from, or you can opt for pizza by the slice for $2. Every dish we saw looked amazing, with huge portions. The bar was lively and everyone seemed happy. The restaurant lived up to its reviews, and I highly recommend giving it a try. We ended our meal with a slice of homemade New York style cheesecake, which was delicious. We will definitely be returning, and next time we will bring friends. On our way out, we purchased some Christmas gift certificates for my mother-in-law as a thank you for the recommendation.
Established in 1929, this restaurant serves generous portions of food. I have been dining here for 30 years and can attest that they serve one of the best Briar Hill Pizzas, topped with sauce, green peppers, and sprinkled Parmigiano cheese. It is family-owned and you will not leave disappointed.
It's been a year since I've visited the Sunrise Inn. The pizza was excellent, I had two slices of the Deluxe. All that I can say is EXCELLENT!!!! And the beer was cold???? It's a nice friendly place to visit.
Nice to have a Celiac safe (gluten free options) place to eat locally! I had chicken and greens, the hubby (regular diet) had chicken Parm and spaghetti with blue moon.
