Making your way in the world today takes everything you've got, taking a break from all your worries sure would help a lot. Wouldn't you like to get away? Sometimes you want to go where everybody knows your name and they're always glad you came. You wanna to be where you can see our troubles are all the same. You want to be where everybody knows your name.Sounds familiar? Lol that's the feel you get from Justine and Scott and the girls at the SOS Lounge. Place you go and don't want to leave...great fit for the Fabulous village of Warkworth, Trent Hills. See you soonBeth, Janice & Eloise
Each visit to the Lounge has been exceptional and absolutely memorable! The stunning atmosphere, fabulous food and drinks as well as the phenomenally attentive service will keep me coming back again and again!
We had ano amazing time in this quaint little town at their street festival. The evening concluded with a visit to the SOS lounge, and a more perfect ending could not be had. A friendly relaxed setting with nostalgic decor, warm smiles and an abundance of sweet and savory treat to impress even the most sophisticated pallets. A fine selection of beers and custom made cocktails added to a more than generous helping of charcuterie made for a perfect and memorable night.
Antiques and alcohol may strike you offhand as a mix that belongs on a list with “dog park and baked goods sale” or “toddlers and high tea,” but the folks at Serendipitous Old Stuff Lounge have carefully arranged their furniture (and a few endearingly serious signs) so that you can’t go astray and pour your chardonnay all over a pricey applique. The decor is chic without being snobbish, the menu is a sleek collection of gourmet platters, sandwiches and desserts, always fresh and presented beautifully (little dishes of delicious condiments abound but do not overwhelm, I love it!) The family-run service is always radiant because they have their hearts in it and it shows. If you’re not from Warkworth, you’ll love the locals’ friendly vibe, and if you are, then you know it’s a prettier version of Cheers. Most importantly, the cocktails are well-poured. It makes for an atmosphere that is as inviting, eclectic, classy, and fanciful as the owner’s antique tastes. Above all, do not miss the one-pot Wednesday special (bring your appetite, though, because it’s also known as “one-meal Wednesday at my house.) There’s also a Mad Hatter’s collection of tea there (try the Russian Caravan). I definitely recommend!
