Restaurant bewertenI playfully suggested that they should start charging an admission fee because this restaurant is just so charming! We were on our way back from Terra Alta following a weekend getaway and decided to stop and explore the town after passing through on our way to the resort. We didn't have any specific plans, but stumbled upon this gem located right next to the Visitor Center. Intrigued by the Cider sign, I entered and ended up leaving with a variety of goodies including food, jewelry, art, and souvenirs for my family. The trading post felt like a mini museum experience for both me and my 9-year-old daughter. The atmosphere exuded a cozy and magical vibe, similar to something out of a Good Witch movie. The staff were extremely friendly and the restroom was not only clean, but also adorably decorated with a selection of high-quality merchandise for sale.
This restaurant is a unique and charming spot with a variety of souvenir gifts and snacks. They even offer a delicious vegan breakfast sandwich. I tried their chai tea, which tasted mostly like milk, but overall, it's definitely worth a visit if you're passing by.
This lovely boutique supports local artists and businesses. If you're in the area, it's definitely worth a visit. They offer a variety of beers, soaps, baked goods, and even some antiques.
This vegetarian café is a rare find in the area. The vegan sausage is quite tasty, but it's the only breakfast option that can be made vegan (I didn't inquire about their bakery items). The vegan sausage biscuit was misleading as it was served on a cookie with butter and milk. The frittatas are pre-made, so they cannot be made dairy-free. Although the menu is limited, the food was delicious and catered well to those with allergies and plant-based diets.
I enjoyed delicious vegan biscuits served with jam or a vegan sausage patty (only moderately spicy,) along with prefabricated vegan pasta salad, three bean salad, and non-dairy milk. The restaurant is located in an antique and art store that also sells a variety of food products.
