Subway - Waratah

Cheap alternative for people on a budget and there are a lot in the Waratah area! I sometimes eat the wrap with meat balls but recently had a nice tuna wrap. Problem was I ordered a coffee. The coffee only came in a large sized take-away cup and cost $3.90! When I tried the coffee is was just water, no taste whatsoever ... for nearly $4.00! What? I couldn't drink it so took it back to the counter to let them know the coffee was crappy and so overpriced at $3.90. I was offered another coffee but decided I didn't want another crappy coffee so just said no thanks and I just wanted them to know and hopefully tell the boss. I've very disappointed that a place that sell ok food (well, protein and salad) is trying to rip people off with such a crappy coffee.Positives: Cheap, fastNegatives: The Coffee, the ripoff price of the Coffee

The staff at the restaurant seemed more focused on having a personal conversation than taking my order. I requested a double cheese burger, but only received one layer of cheese. When asked if I wanted it toasted, I declined and requested it be made fresh. However, when I got home, I discovered that it had been toasted against my wishes. I ended up throwing it away uneaten. Overall, a very disappointing experience.

This restaurant is a great budget-friendly option in the Waratah area. I usually go for the meatball pack, but recently tried the delicious tuna pack. I also ordered a coffee, which unfortunately was only available in a large size for $3.90. However, when I took a sip, I found that it tasted like water and had no flavor at all, which was disappointing for the price. I returned it to the counter and was offered a replacement, but declined as I didn't want to risk another disappointing coffee. Overall, the food is good and reasonably priced, but the coffee was a letdown in both taste and cost. Positive points: affordable and quick service. Negative points: the quality and price of the coffee.
