Went for lunch with my daughter. She enjoyed the fried chicken and sticky rice while I enjoyed the upon soup (kow piak) and lahp chicken. The food was good and the service was good, but I had to wave down the waitress or approach her myself to get some items/make requests a few times. The restaurant appeared clean but could use some soft music to make it more enjoyable. They have a restroom available for patrons dining in as well. I'd order/eat here again but not frequent due to costs. I enjoy supporting local, but for this lunch I spent about $65 including tax and tip. And yes, we only ordered 3 dishes and 2 sides of sticky rice.
Went here for my 26th birthday my favorite Thai place on the island and there ended up being a hair in my spring roll. Deeply disappointed will never go here again.
What a nice hole in the wall. This place is located right off the beginning of Kunia, where the Walmart and Denny's are located. It's in the corner, did not have a hard time finding parking but the parking is limited. The place itself was small, but it still is able to fit a good amount of people. I went on a Wednesday around 3pm and only a few people in there, not busy or slow. Service was great, the young lady that served us was very friendly and attentive to our table. The food came out quick and was a amazing! We ordered a lot, but everything tends to be served in a family style way. You can scoop the food from the plate it's served on and put directly on your plate. The pricing was not too expensive, very reasonable. They also had dessert options, and many other food options to chose from. Great place to stop in and check out.
Out of the four dishes we ordered, the curry pad Thai was the standout. The spicy fish fillet was milder than expected, so no need to worry if you’re not a fan of heat! For those who prefer a kick, there are additional chili options available on the table that pair wonderfully with the papaya salad. We also ordered the eggplant chicken, but I forgot to take a photo because the food was just that good. It was richly seasoned, reminiscent of oxtail soup, and you could immediately taste the oriental spices as soon as you took a bite. I would definitely return to this place!
