Restaurant bewertenYesterday, I had dinner for the first time with my sister at this restaurant. I am a very picky eater, but I was pleasantly surprised by the variety of options available. I had an incredibly delicious ribeye steak that was cooked perfectly. The service was excellent, the staff was friendly, and the atmosphere was welcoming. I would highly recommend returning to this restaurant in the future. Overall, I would give it a rating of 15/10.
The food at this restaurant has always been excellent, as has the service. Even on the busiest days, the food comes out quickly. The main issue is the wait for a table, as reservations are not accepted and wait times can be up to an hour. It is a good idea to arrive when they open or during off-peak times. On this visit, both bathroom toilets were not working, which was a big inconvenience. The interior is beautifully designed with a pleasing Japanese aesthetic.
I have been coming to Restaurant Kunio for over 15 years, and it is still my favorite Japanese restaurant on Oʻahu, as well as one of my favorite restaurants overall. The food is consistently delicious, the prices are reasonable, the staff is friendly, and the restaurant maintains an elegant yet unpretentious atmosphere. Thank you for the wonderful memories!
We absolutely loved this restaurant. Although there was a 30-minute wait, it was well worth it. We tried the fried oyster and teriyaki beef combo, which was perfectly prepared and delicious. My wife had the rock lobster and shrimp combo, which was also amazing. We can't wait to come back for more.
We stumbled upon this restaurant near our house, and decided to try it out because my daughter loves soba noodles. I found it convenient to place our order online, and the website was easy to navigate. My only suggestion would be to include photos of each dish on the menu for better visibility. When we picked up our order, we found the restaurant to be nice, clean, and the staff to be friendly. The food was tasty overall. My daughter thought the soba noodles were a bit bland, lacking in flavor. The sushi was good, but the portions were on the smaller side. The side of bok choy teriyaki was delicious, but a bit pricey for the portion size. Despite some minor issues, I would consider returning to this restaurant in the future specifically for the sushi.
