Gasthof Strub - Waidring

Unsere Familie besucht Österreich zum ersten Mal und wir bleiben in Tirol. Wir haben uns entschieden, hier zu essen und sind so froh, dass wir es geschafft haben! Das Essen war unglaublich und die Atmosphäre war genau das, wovon wir geträumt hatten! Die frische Forelle hat uns das Wasser im Mund zusammenlaufen lassen und der Apfelstrudel war der beste, den wir je gegessen haben! Wir kommen wieder, bevor wir nach Hause gehen! Ich liebte es!

Sehr schöner Ort. Wir hatten ein super Abendessen, mein Freund bekam eine Forelle mit Mandeln und Kürbiskernen, perfekt zubereitet und ich bekam das 250 g Steak medium rare, weil ich es liebe. Gemüse waren Kartoffeln mit Petersilie und Karotten. Guter Rotwein zum Mitnehmen. ohne Süßigkeiten, da wir fertig waren. Und zum Abschluss gab es noch ein leckeres Nuss-Snaps. Kellnerinnen sind gut beraten und liebenswert. wir werden zurück kommen.

Our family is visiting Austria for the first time and we are staying in the Tirol. We decided to eat here and we're so happy we did! The food was incredible, and the atmosphere was everything we had dreamed of! The fresh trout was mouthwatering and the apple strudel was the best we have ever tasted! We will come again before we head home! Loved it!

Very nice place. We had a super dinner, my girlfriend get a trout with almond and pumpkin seeds, perfectly cooked and I get the 250 g steak medium rare like I love it. Veggies were potatoes with parsley and carrots .Good red wine to go with, no sweeties as we were done. And to complet we had a nus (nuts) schnapps delicious. Waitresses are of good advice and adorable.We shall return.

Well, we missed eating here last year, as it was closed for holidays and when we arrived this time it was closed again. BUT at the beginning of the month it reopened, just as we were leaving, but at least we managed one meal!This place is brilliant. It's in a lovely location, easy to get to although you really need transport.The food is excellent, particularly the steak. There is a choice of weights. My husband had the middle size and it was enormous, about two inches thick AND it was cooked exactly how he likes it. I had the smaller one, which was still big but not as thick and it too was delicious.It has a wide ranging menu, although no translations, so a dictionary is useful. The service was good too.We like this place so much we might change our dates next year to make sure it's open!!!
