Trujillos Comedor Y Cantina - Waco

We were traveling and looking for a good Mexican food. We drove by and the parking lot was full. I thought this has to be a good sign. Boy was a right. Everything from the salsa to the beans and the guacamole was hands down the best I have ever had. This is a must try restaurant!

This was our first visit in years! . the warm, friendly atmosphere compliments the great food good service. Chris was a wonderful waiter. I 'm glad this family owned business is still going strong

Food was good. I’d rate the food alone at 4 stars. The service and friendliness of the staff was the issue. We waited at the host both a little over 5 minutes without any one of the 7 employees saying anything to us. No one else was waiting. No acknowledgement at all from the employees, nothing. Some made eye contact, but quickly looked away. The hostess finally walked in from outside and first thing she said was “excuse me” as she walked past. Our server was ok. Service goes a long way with me. There are other Mexican restaurants in Waco with just as good food and MUCH better service. I’m really not sure I’d go back.

Her new bartender was fantastic for her first day, knew how to handle many people at once and had a great attitude all the time. Previous this place is very clean and natural bomb food

We have enjoyed great food from this multigenerational family business for decades! Today we had a fajita steak, beef enchilada, fried beans and guacamole. Cream beans melt in the mouth! Dessert was the Trujillo fried cheesecake with ice, chocolate and caramel it was excellent!!
