Restaurant bewertenThis is not a posh place but a place to come for a rest and something to eat to break up a long car journey - in our case, 460km. Vivonne is one of many villages along the national routes in France known as a Village étape - a kind of staging village. You will see them on signs along motorways and they are usually reliable places to stop. There are strict criteria to fulfil in order for a village to be admitted. We didn't know any of this but on the day we visited - 4th July 2015, it so happened that it was the 20th anniversary of the establishment of villages étapes and we were given a mug to commemorate the day. You can read more about it on Wiki. This particular café seved a really good salad. There are two sizes; I had the large one and it was gigantic. We also had a pizza and it was less successful - too much cheese and so a little greasy. The coffee was good and the waitress was friendly and helpful. If you happen to be travelling on the N10 and are in the vicinity of Vivonne and want/need a pit stop, this is a decent place to stop. Further up the road is a big Super U (hypermarket) and you can stock up on your provisions, as well.
We stopped on Sunday at 2 o'clock, at noon without having booked. ... The coast was excellent, perfect blue cuisine, homemade fries. My husband took an excellent burger too, homemade. Quality ratio unbeatable price. Thank you.
Thanks to you I enjoyed my mother too you are beautiful bravo
We were looking for a simple place to drink a drink, we stopped here by chance. It was so cold outside that the super pretty waitress even offered us a plaid. After our beer, a charming card, an irresistible desire to take this cannibal pizza, it is not worth telling you that it was excellent! I highly recommend the restaurant Jimmy’s Bar
It is in a spacious and friendly place the bosses are not very welcoming to say that I strongly advise the Jimmy We eat very well and the plates are copied
