Side Street Cafe - Virginia Beach

Spectacularly delicious Mexican dinner while on vacation! All the food tasted amazing and was still hot from the kitchen when it hit the table. Thus place is very popular and can get very busy, especially on Tuesdays, (Taco Tuesdays), so plan accordingly, the wait is typically never too long.

The food was amazing. The best Mexican cuisine that I've had in a long time.

The best thing about this restaurant is the vibe and the drinks. The drinks were fantastic especially the frozen margheritas. We ended up enjoying two of those while we dined. The food was mixed for our table. The Fajitas were absolutely fantastic as was the queso with chorizo sausage added. But other dishes were too salty and just had a poor taste overall. But the Fajitas and Margheritas made up for some of the other shortcomings.

Great experience! Delicious food, fast service with chip, salsa and some delicious white dip immediately. You also have fried ice cream

Walking into Side Street Cantina, felt like we weren't even in Virginia Beach anymore. Amazing, quaint lil place. The ambiance the music were incredible! As was the gentleman who waited on us. The food was Soo delicious flavorful!! Make sure you try the queso blanco!
