Restaurant bewertenI can't say enough about this wonderful Italian restaurant. I had such a hard time deciding from the menu because everything looked amazing. Sal is the owner and chef and he makes almost everything from scratch. This place reminds me of the small restaurants that I visited, during my numerous vacations in Italy. Meals are supposed to be relaxing and fun. It's got a great happy hour at the bar and the floor decor is very attractive and comfortable. I loved the pillows on the benches.
My husband and I went for dinner Thursday night. The food was amazing, the service spectacular and the chef is a gem. We both had the specials. My husband’s lobster ravioli was the best I’ve tasted. I had the Chicken a la vodka in the cheese bowl. Wow! What flavor!!!! The dish was tossed in a cheese wheel. I recommend this restaurant to everyone.
Hands down the best Italian food I’ve had in Virginia. Sal was incredibly hospitable and made sure that our meal and overall experience were above and beyond what we were expecting. I was looking for something specific and he met the challenge of creating the perfect dish for me without hesitation. This will be my go to suggestion from now on for authentic, homemade Italian food.
Honest, authentic, delicious Italian food. While the menu is great, the chef specials are 'where it 's at, ' especially the seafood. Pasta and bread are fresh made in-house. The wait staff is friendly and knowledgeable. The best part is the chef/owner who is personally engaged to ensure each guest has a delicious meal and wonderful experience. A hidden gem in Great Neck. Absolutely wonderful meal! Our first visit and we will be back to try more dishes off of the menu. The complementary bread is homemade, as is the mozzarella caprese and many of the pasta dishes. We had the spinach ravioli with sage butter sauce and a fettuccine dish with a white wine cream sauce, mushroom and chicken, followed by cannolis for dessert. There is also a great happy hour special on wine from 5-7 which was unexpected. The chef/owner came out twice to speak with us and we felt very comfortable and welcomed. He’s a master of his craft and you can taste the love in every bite. You won’t be disappointed!
