Restaurant bewertenWe hd the kindest waiter while visiting Virginia beach and coming across this BWW. She was very attentive and the food tasted great. The host and the rest of the waiters were also really nice. It was decently quiet on a Saturday afternoon and the food came quite fast. Nothing to complain about. Booth seating was comfortable as well! If you have any dogs, I?d recommend also visiting the new dog street store just a few doors down, walking east :
My experience at this restaurant was absolutely terrible. If I could give it a zero rating, I would. We did not receive any service until we had been sitting down for 15 minutes, despite being the third party in the restaurant. We had to ask for refills multiple times and never received them. Our appetizers were served only after half of our dinner order was ready, and all the food was cold. We asked for napkins and silverware but never received them, so we had to ask another server. Half of our order came out first, and we had to wait another 15 minutes for the rest. Even though we told our server at the beginning that we needed a to-go order, we had to go to the front to place it. We were never checked on during our visit. I rarely leave reviews, as I have worked in the restaurant industry, but this experience was so bad that I will not be returning to this location. Despite our group being patient and polite, our server (who will remain unnamed) and the food were both huge disappointments.
I felt sorry for our waiter, who seemed to be doing his best, but the bartender was too busy chatting instead of getting our beer order in. How difficult is it to pour a beer to keep the customer happy and hydrated? We asked for the check and decided to find a new preferred location for our future outings.
Our waitress was great. Very friendly, and the right amount of attention. She didn't bug us needlessly nor did she leave us alone to dry out. The restaurant appeared clean and there were plenty of screens and a variety of sports to watch. We got a beer, boneless wings, fries, and tots. The tots were good, I thought the fries were a little stale, and the wings were ok. Beer selection was fine. No crowd. Not too loud.
Upon arriving at our hotel, we were starving, cold, and tired. The valet recommended a place called Chop, so we ventured down the street in the freezing weather until we found it. Unfortunately, we realized it was not suitable for our current attire. Feeling disappointed and disoriented, we suddenly spotted a familiar logo - what a relief! Despite my usual preference for exploring unique places while on vacation, we eagerly entered the restaurant and were warmly greeted by the hostess, who also served us. Our server, T, was friendly and attentive. I was impressed by the friendly demeanor of all the staff who passed by our table. Although there were some mix-ups with our happy hour orders, we still had a good time and received good service. My only complaint was the over-sweetness of the blue Long Island drink we ordered. Despite their attempt to remake it, it still tasted like syrup. It seems like they may be a bit heavy-handed with their pours.
