Restaurant bewertenI ordered the clam cakes/balls and they were pretty good overall. However, two out of the four were undercooked so I had to throw them out. My wife ordered the fish and chips, but neither were seasoned well. The fish had a simple batter without much crispiness on the breading. This meal may be suitable for someone on a bland diet.
I highly recommend this restaurant for their delicious fried seafood. They offer a variety of options like shrimp, scallops, and cod. The outdoor dining experience on picnic tables adds to the charm. They also have kids meals available. The seafood is incredibly fresh. Don't miss this place!
The food is good, the service is great, and the environment is nice. However, the restaurant mainly focuses on takeout with very limited outdoor seating. The fish and chips are always fresh and crispy.
Fish and chips were ok. Chunks of fish not filets. They also left on the skin and a little over cooked. Not so bad that I didn't finish it, but I would not go back again. Much better fish and chips at the little place across from where I live. Did have great entertainment though watching people from different states try to navigate the parking lot while sitting at the table eating. It is just a normal parking lot so not sure what their issue was.
My mom and I went here for dinner one night on the Vineyard before heading to Lambert's Cove for the sunset. We both ordered the grilled swordfish sandwiches and they were good. I thought the fish tasted fresh but the sauce on the sandwich or grease while the sandwich was cooking made the whole thing very soggy within 10 minutes. I personally prefer the simple fish sandwiches in Menemsha, but for the sake of convenience, this was a good option which is why I am giving it 4 stars. I would definitely try it again if I were on the island and maybe something else! It was very busy and popular.
