Point Blue Bbq - Ville Platte

Friendly, roadside shack set among gorgeous, old, live oak trees with picnic tables nestled underneath as your dining space. Your nose will be the first thing to tell you that you’ve found a BBQ jackpot. Your mouth will soon agree when you fill it with the generous serving of tender, smoked meat and the yummy sauce, potato salad, beans and homemade bread. We didn’t try the deserts who had room left? They did look good though. If you’re anywhere within driving distance, get there early and don’t miss it. We’ll be back!

We wanted BBQ so we We drove 18miles to Point Blue BBQ. We were greated with friendly smiles . We ordered 2 pork steak and 1 smoked sausage plates, and homemade bread pudding, they were unbelievably delicious, the meat was seasoned well alone with the trimmings. Believe me it's well worth the drive, we will definitely go back.

The best ever Stopped by again at Point Blue. It's very hard for me to say this because I never like to make others feel bad but the ribs that I got the last two times are the absolute best ribs I have ever eaten between the Atlantic and Pacific. They were like butter. Every bit of meat fell off the bone and the fat melted in your mouth coating it with this delicious smoky flavor. Brisket was fabulous as well. Sides were on ?. And the bread is so good that it deserves its own separate review. It's like Evangeline maid old fashion bread BUT way better.

Went there today and had the hamburger, sausage and beans and dirty rice. It was Excellent!! The lady working the front was extremely nice. Will definitely come back !
