During our GR54, we chose to stay one night at the Gîte des mélèzes between two bivouacs to have a little comfort. And we were not disappointed! Located in a very quiet and charming village, we were very well received: the restaurant part is great and the breakfast too. Everyone is very nice, we had a great time! Nearby activities: Many hikes! The climb to the Col d'Arsine and the lakes of the Arsine glacier is simply magnificent : Rooms: 5

On vacation for a few days in La Grave I went to eat a pizza on Friday evening by chance. And there no regrets. The pizza was excellent and the prices very reasonable. The boss was very nice and the waitress was very pleasant. Take it easy. We would like restaurants like this more often. I will go back there. Service: 5 Location: 5

I have been going there for 2 years for hikes in the Écrins park and it is always a pleasure to return. Quiet, simple, peaceful and rejuvenating cottage. Always well received by Denis (the owner) who is very accommodating. I don't agree with some comments (especially on booking) which say that the place is dilapidated. On the contrary, old building but very well maintained and very clean (it requires a lot of effort to maintain this type of building). The catering is of very good quality, the dishes are very good and a lot of effort is made to satisfy the customer. I recommend very favorably and I thank Denis and Frédérique for the stays.
