Evan's Barbeque Company - Villa Rica

I bought a quart of Brunswick stew and cold slaw. Brunswick stew was awesome. The Cole slaw was good but Cole slaw that fine, please use less mayo. Less mayo with fine slaw makes it better. The price was very pricey. I paid a little over $28.00 for a quart of Brunswick stew and a pint of slaw. Next time I will be buying those by the cup. The Brunswick stew is a definite. I use to go to Turners Douglaville for really good Brunswick stew Due to me during week days not making it in time and then closed on Saturday's, no more. Evans is my new place for Brunswick stew. Although I thought less mayo in the Cole slaw , I will buy it again for chili slaw dogs. I'm also editing my review. I usually love the coleslaw and bought a quart for work to have this weekend and I paid $17.00 for coleslaw that had no taste what so ever. Y'all did not add the sugar to it I could tell. I was just so over it after tasting it and no.flavor what so ever after telling people in my work place that y'all had good slaw. I was very disappointed.

First time trying this place. We purchased a variety of foods. It was very good I'm editing my review and giving three instead of five stars. I have a legitimate question for the owners please? The last three to four times that we've ordered from you, the squash casserole is always limited to one pint and sometimes less. I'm coming from Douglasville to buy your food and spend on average $150.00 plus/minus. This is frustrating knowing that I'm always told no that I can only have a certain amount of something when I'm a paying customer. Any information would be greatly appreciated.

I think this place has the best value for dinner, that I know of ... period.

Last few times catfish is tough and hushpuppies are burnt. wonder what is going on???? catfish was delicious in march! not so much in April and MaY!!! I eat here once a week, not many more

Evans is a special little treasure nestled in downtown Villa Rica, Georgia and you’ll never have better BBQ than you will here!!! Everything is made to order and smoked to the perfect temperature. Ribs…(more meat than bone) has perfect moisture, perfect color, perfect taste. Might I also suggest The Boss Hog…a huge delicious sandwich made with Texas Toast, pulled pork, cheddar cheese, fried green tomato, applewood smoked bacon, and slaw! I will drive 30 miles to Evans if I want BBQ because they have set the bar so high!! R A C H E A L was our super sweet, super kind waitress this evening. She was well worth the 30% tip on my birthday. Thank you for making our little family time great with prompt service and a smile!! We’ll be back! The Marsee’s
