Dunkin' - Villa Park

This was one of the worst coffee experiences I've ever had. The food was greasy and cold, the coffee was overly sweet with a sour taste, and the service was slow and unresponsive. I would not recommend this place for breakfast. The parking lot had plenty of free parking options available.

This has happened more than once, but today really put me in a bad mood. I arrived at opening (6 am on a Sunday) and assumed the doors would be locked since they started that habit recently. I sat in the drive-thru for 10 minutes because I thought maybe something had happened and they were understaffed. When I gave up, I pulled around to the front and could see everything was set up, but the doors were locked. I waited and even called the store. After 30 minutes, I saw their manager casually open the door. I waited a bit and walked in after 2 minutes, thinking maybe she was working alone. Turns out, there were two employees there the entire time. I was ignored at first because they were too busy chatting about their night out drinking. I also work in the coffee industry and find this level of service to be truly unacceptable. I'm not sure what happened to the staff that was here before and during the summer, but it seems like all the good ones are gone. Food: 4 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 4

Four stars only due to the frequency in which they don't have items available. Every so often their espresso machine goes out of service so they can't make any Espresso drinks. Although it is located in a active shopping center and right next to the high school, it is not usually super busy in the afternoon early evening. The staff at this restaurant lacked experience, causing long wait times for service. Additionally, one team member was more focused on flirting than serving customers. This place is terrible. They never have enough staff and are incredibly slow with orders. The only reason it's busy is because of the location, not because of the quality of the restaurant. I think they should just replace it with a Starbucks. It would be a lot better if the management just hired enough staff to keep up with the demand.
